It also has Range Extender (Duplex) Capability giving you long range depending on the location of local repeater stations. The keypad and LCD Display for the UH089SX is now backlit orange for extra easy viewing at night or in low light situations. Another great feature of the UH05040NB is the Open Scan and Group Scan (GS) with Priority Channel Watch - this allows you the user to select the channels they wish to monitor / listen to in a group, along with a Priority Channel (Priority Watch).
